The two key focuses of my coaching services are:
1) Financial Modelling
Most real estate financial modelling courses do well in preparing you for job interviews, but not many of them equip you with the right skills to be used in the real world. I will teach you techniques to build almost ANY model, how to set it up professional for institutional stakeholders, and give you insight on the issues that you will encounter in the real world. The best way for you to learn is to immediately put things into practise, so be prepared to allocate time to attempt the assignments.
2) Resume review + Interview Preparation
Do you know that my industry contacts typically receive over 200 applicants for an analyst position? Don’t let a poorly crafted resume or lackluster interview skills hold you back. Introducing the EliteREA Job Hunter coaching service, please allow me to pass on my insights so that you can stand out from the crowd.
I am fully aware that not everyone is at the same level in excel, so it is important for me as a coach to tailor the session to maximise your outcomes. In addition, I will include any explanation of finance theories and how they work in real life to give you a more rounded learning experience.
How does it work?
- You will receive an initial coaching outline and assignment (focused on a development syndicate joint venture) at the beginning of the process. Don’t be concerned if you are unable to complete the assignment or find it too easy; its primary purpose is for me to assess your level of financial modeling skills.
- After reviewing your outputs, I may recommend adjustments to the outline to ensure you derive the maximum benefit from the session. The coaching will be conducted over two sessions, each lasting from 2 to 2.5 hours, with a maximum total duration of 5 hours.
- If you are new to financial modeling, following the first session, you will reattempt the financial model to solidify and reinforce the acquired skills in your memory.
- At the end of the coaching session you will receive a completed financial model based on our agreed objectives so that you can revisit key concepts at anytime.
What’s the cost?
The cost of coaching is $995 AUD with discounts applicable if you come in as a group of 3-5 participants. Note that the benefits of a focused one on one session may be slightly lost in a group setting. There are no additional fees for taxes or materials.
